As the presence of technology and electronics grow in our lives, the number of gadgets we own grows as well. Cell phones, tablets, laptops, TVs, and now smartwatches- they are becoming essentials in our everyday lives. This indicates that our society as a whole produces more electronic waste and generates more greenhouse gasses. Sceptre values creating high-tech products for the consumer, but also highly values and respects the environment. We believe we have a social and corporate responsibility to do what we can to minimize our carbon footprint.

“Electronic waste from equipment of all sizes includes dangerous chemicals like lead, cadmium, beryllium, mercury, and brominated flame retardants. When we dispose of gadgets and devices improperly, these hazardous materials have a high risk of polluting the air, contaminating soil, and leaching into water sources.” –Heather Levin

All Sceptre Displays are Energy Star Certified. This helps the environment and helps you save money on electricity bills. In order to qualify, each of our products have been tested by an independent party to ensure they use at least 30% less energy to power and operate in every mode than conventional televisions. These rigorous product tests must also be approved by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) to ensure these tests are valid and correspond with environmental and health standards. For more information, visit the official Energy Star website.
ENERGY STAR is a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) voluntary program that helps businesses and individuals save money and protect our climate through superior energy efficiency.
Animals and creatures are invaluable to this Earth. We care about wildlife and do what we can to donate to wildlife foundations and zoos to protect endangered animals or animals, that are on the fast track to become endangered, such as our Komodo Dragon.
