Looking for a 4K TV? This may be the year that you upgrade to an Ultra HDTV! It’s undeniable that with over 8 million pixels, the picture and clarity will astound you! With more and more content coming out, you don’t want to miss the beauty of these shows. So how can we enjoy 4K fully? These are the things you need in order to stream 4K:
1) Get a Sceptre 4K UHD TV
Sceptre offers quality 4K TVs for amazing prices. Sceptre 4K delivers an impressive visual landscape and forgoes unnecessary “smart” features so you can spend your money on other TV gadgets you can’t wait to get your hands on. The size of 4K TV needed to provide the optimum visibility and entertainment impact is dependent upon the home entertainment space that is available in your home. Visit www.sceptre.com or our friends at www.Walmart.com and www.Amazon.com.
2) Sufficient Broadband Internet
Since 4K is transferring more data, it’s natural to assume you will need higher broadband in order to prevent excess buffering. Call up your internet service provider and ask for faster speed.
Netflix recommends a connection speed of 25 megabits per second or higher
Amazon recommends 15 Mbps
3) 4K Set-top box, stick, or console
To get access to all the 4K goodies, you must have a 4K compatible device. These can be accessed with some very awesome options:
- Amazon’s Fire TV 2015 ($99.99)
- Roku 4 ($130)
- Nvidia Shield ($199)
4) HDMI 2.0 (High Speed) Cable
New advancements are exciting when it comes to HDMI. It gets rid of the confusion of all the different audio and TV wires that used to be required. Some confusion exists over HDMI 2.0. HDMI 2.0 cables are backwards compatible with HDMI 1.4 cables, HOWEVER, it will only support 2160p up to 30fps. Also this setup will only display frames at 30hz (30 frames displayed per second) for TV shows and 24hz for movies. Though the picture will still probably be superior to earlier TV models, get the most out of an HDMI 2.0 port by buying and using an HDMI 2.0 cable, or any HDMI cable that states that it meets 2.0’s standards. The upgrade will be well worth it and these cables only cost between $5 and $20 on Amazon.com. So in order to enjoy your Sceptre 4K fully, make sure you get these High Speed HDMI cables ( also called Category 2 cables).
5) Get a Netflix or Amazon account
